Which Witch Are You? Your Zodiac Sign’s Screen Sorceress

“Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble.” This season of the witch is upon us, and there’s no better way to ignite our inner mystical being than to align each zodiac sign with the sorceress who embodies their aesthetic and demeanor. Read below to find out which pop culture enchantress aligns with your sun sign or big three.

Aries: Nancy Downs from The Craft

Like fiery Aries, Nancy is obsessed with authority, dominance, and power, which motivates her to inhabit the aura of the entity the coven summons. She wants to be the most prominent witch; this is in line with Aries’ desire to win at all they do.

Taurus: Lisle von Rhuman from Death Becomes Her

Venus rules the sign Taurus; therefore, beauty is a vital part of their essence. Lisle von Rhuman from Death Becomes Her embodies that energy because she offers a spell that can restore youth and grant eternal life to the secret society that drinks her potion.

Gemini: Alexandra Fielding and Camryn Barnes from Twitches

The twin sisters separate, only to reconnect later in life. Since Gemini is the sign of the twins, it makes sense that the movie reflects that duality. The sisters have different personalities but the same looks, highlighting their dualities and similarities. Their reunion is epic.

Cancer: Amanda Shelton from Simply Irresistible

Amanda infuses her cooking with raw emotion (the main ingredient), with help from a magical crab. Cancers make the dish for everyone to enjoy, preparing every type of cuisine with TLC. You can taste their care in every bite, making it delicious to the core.

Leo: Alex Russo from Wizards of Waverly Place

Alex has a fun-loving personality with a dose of mischief. On occasion, she gets careless with divining her magic, but that is to be expected for a teenager who is consumed with popularity. Like Leo, she becomes in tune with her immense power in time.

Virgo: Agatha Harkness from Agatha All Along

Agatha embarks on a life-altering journey to find the Witches’ Road and to reclaim her actual identity, forcing her to look inward and heal before she can move forward. Virgos can take steps toward fulfillment once they resolve matters tugging at their minds and hearts.

Libra: Elaine Parks from The Love Witch

Libras are here for the romance factor, which is what Elaine lusts after in The Love Witch. Things get askew when she uses her mystical capacities to tilt the scales of love. But Elaine yearns for a potential partnership and limerence at any cost possible.

Scorpio: Sally and Gillian Owens from Practical Magic

Both Owens sisters were born on Halloween, making them truly intuitive Scorpios. Their innate abilities to channel each other’s energy and see through the veil to the other realms, their individual transformations, and their unwavering love for each other align them with the unconditional water sign Scorpio.

Sagittarius: Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus

As the outspoken Sanderson sister, Winifred uses her voice to enchant the children and adults of Salem to do as she wants. Winifred is loud and proud in declaring her motives, stopping at nothing to attain her goals, just as Sagittarius fights for their aspirations.

Capricorn: Ursula from The Little Mermaid

Like Capricorn, Ursula is the ultimate business witch. She makes Ariel sign a very specific contract outlining the terms of their exchange and agreement; Ursula’s dominant presence in the ocean also strengthens her energy, much like the sea goat operates in professional settings on land.

Aquarius: The Weird Sisters from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Aquarius is the group that stands up against authority and patriarchy. In this case, the girl gang of three, referred to as the Weird Sisters, torments mortal boys to teach them decency and how to behave in the world. They’re the SJW of the coven.

Pisces: Glinda from The Wiz

Lena Horne playing Glinda is the ultimate witchy flex: with her glamour, beauty, and the inspirational message of the song “If You Believe,” also known as “Believe in Yourself,” at the end of the journey, she encourages Dorothy to find her inner magic. How Pisces is that?
